Lanson International is a former group of champagne houses, which notably included Lanson, Besserat de Bellefon and Gauthier. In 2006, Lanson Universal was bought by Boizel Chanoine Champagne Group

Lanson was, founded in 1760 by a magistrate Francois Delamotte. He was superseded by his son Nicholas-Louis in 1798 and formed a business with Jean-Baptiste Lanson, who, in 1837, gave the group the name of Lanson et Cie.

By the late 19th century, Lanson was providing champagne by royal appointment to the courts of the UK, Sweden and Spain. Lanson resides a purveyor of champagne to the British Royal Family, and it displays the coat of arms on the bottles of Elizabeth II.
