Haribo, a German confectionery company, established in 1920 by Johannes "Hans" Riegel, Sr. Haribo is, headquartered in Bonn, and the signature comes from an abbreviation of Hans Riegel, Bonn.

The Landesmuseum Koblenz created a travelling exhibition about the history of Haribo in 2006.

Haribo's key trademarks in the UK are Starmix, Supermix, Maoam and Tangfastics, with Maoam being its line of chewy sweets. They were once the wholesaler of Pez products in the UK, but this is no longer the case.
